Giving To Charity

Poison Oak Apparel will donate 10% of all sales made by the end of each year's trading to two charities.

This is because we believe the only way to be part of the future, is to look after it.

For our first year we decided to donate 20% of all sales to World Wildlife Fund and Natural Resources Defence Council.

£211 has gone to World Wildlife Fund.

£211 (or $325) has gone to National Resources Defence Council.

In our second year of trading we donated 10% of all sales received to two more local charities that were in desperate need of the money. Firstly Secret World Wildlife Rescue as a nature based charity, then secondly Julian Trust for their amazing night shelter work that they provide for the homeless.

£250 has gone to Secret World Wildlife Rescue.

£250 and some of our stock has gone to Julian Trust Night Shelter.

In our third year of trading we donated 10% of all sales made between two charities that are combating poverty. This is because not only does poverty itself affect and ruin the lives of so many victims world wide, but the knock on effects impact our environment too.

£483 has been donated to BRAC for their incredible support and empowerment work.

£483 has been donated to Crisis for their fight to end homelessness.

After our fourth year of trading we donated 10% of all sales between two charities that are fighting to preserve and protect the marine and coastal environment. This year plastic waste awareness and its affects on marine life have become much more widely recognised. However we need to act fast to save as much of the ocean as possible.

£715 has been donated to Surfers Against Sewage.

£715 has been donated to Marine Conservation Society.

In our fifth year of trading we have donated:

£610 to Surfers Against Sewage.

£610 to BRAC.

In our sixth year of trading we have donated:

£671 to Surfers Against Sewage.

£671 to Show Racism The Red Card.

In our seventh year of trading we have donated:

£750 to Surfers Against Sewage.

£750 to Shelter.

In our eighth year of trading we have donated:

£1115 to Surfers Against Sewage.

£1115 to St. Mungos.

This means that with the help of our amazing customers, we have raised £9,610 so far - and we are only just getting warmed up!

ALL IF THESE DONATIONS ARE COMPLETELY DOWN TO EVERYONE WHO HAS SUPPORTED US AND BOUGHT OUR CLOTHING SO FAR.

THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH.

We are now looking to improving on last years donations and working towards 2023's targets and goals as a brand.
